Felt Hat Making Workshop

MAKE A HAT – serious or frivolous!

Design your own hat then create it. Using natural wool fibres, wet felting techniques, friction and fun.

Participants will leave with

Coming from a family line of dressmakers, including for the Swedish Royal Court, Fi was always destined to create. Successful dressmaking ventures have included made to measure pure silk underwear and lycra workout wear in the 90’s. Crafting activities have been varied but on discovering the wonderful world of merino wool and felting, she was hooked! Join Fi to be inspired and create your own unique hand-crafted makes.

£60 per person. Includes all materials. Maximum 8 people.

Our mini cafe will be open serving tea, coffee, and cake. We’ll have a 30 minute break for lunch, please bring your own packed lunch.


Safety is our priority so we will be seated in a socially distanced manner. When you book a ticket, please book for your group (up to 6 people) and we will group your seats together. We are asking that adults wear a face covering while indoors. We’ll send out a reminder email closer to the time with up to date guidance and a guide of what to expect on the day.
