Experience the vivid displays of daily life in a medieval encampment as living history group, The Company of Chivalry, portray life in the 14th century. Find out how people lived, worked and fought whilst on campaign during the 100 years’ war and visit the medieval encampment with authentic tents and fire pit.

Creative activities for children, treasure hunt, talks about different aspects of medieval life, plus live music, face painting, medieval costume ‘dressing up’, artisans, food trader stalls, and so much more.
Enjoy locally sourced hot and cold refreshments. A hog roast, pizzas, cakes and pastries, cheeses, ice cream desserts, tea, coffee, soft and alcoholic drinks will be available all day from Old Sodbury Lamb, the Barn Bar, Pud Puds, Harcombe Catering, Paul Nutland Cheeses, the Wild Pizza Co. and brewed at the Barn beer from the Three Engineers Brewery,
A perfect family day out at this unique heritage site which dates from 1342. Arrive early and stay all day!

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. Dogs remain the responsibility of the owner within the grounds of the Barn. 

There is plenty of bicycle parking on site for those arriving on two wheels.
Please note there is no car parking onsite or in Church Lane for this event (with the exception of blue badge holders, contact us to reserve a space if needed). 
We will be operating a free park and ride from Winterbourne Academy (BS36 1JL) and from Stoke Gifford Car Park (BS34 8HP) with a shuttle bus to and from the Barn site all throughout the day. Both the car park and the shuttle bus are free! Just park up and see our steward for the next bus.
