We offer 2 Tai Chi sessions each Wednesday. One at 10:30am – 11:30am and the other at 11:45am – 12:45pm.

£5 per class, or £30 for 6 classes payable on the door – includes tea and biscuits afterwards.

Join Jenny on Wednesday at either 10.30am or 11:45am at Winterbourne Medieval Barn for about half an hour of gentle exercise followed by a drink and time to chat. SHIBASHI Tai Chi is a gentle exercise class that is both relaxing and effective. It is accessible to all as it can be done either standing or seated. The slow moves are gentle on the joints and muscles.

Tai Chi has many positive health benefits. It can improve posture, balance and muscle strength, aid pain management, improve heart health, reduce stress, help with breathing difficulties and asthma and boost the immune system.

If you’d like to try it out, get in touch to arrange a taster session. Wear loose clothes and flat shoes. If you’d like to know more about what’s involved, please call Jenny on 07855560257.

Although restrictions have officially eased, we are still asking visitors to wear a face mask while moving around inside the building. You may remove the mask while the class is in progress.
