Join Jenny on Wednesday mornings from 10.30am to 11.30am at Winterbourne Medieval Barn for about half an hour of gentle exercise followed by a drink and time to chat. SHIBASHI Tai Chi is a gentle exercise class that is both relaxing and effective. It is accessible to all as it can be done either standing or seated. The slow moves are gentle on the joints and muscles.
Tai Chi has many positive health benefits. It can improve posture, balance and muscle strength, aid pain management, improve heart health, reduce stress, help with breathing difficulties and asthma and boost the immune system.
Book in 6 week blocks. 6 sessions is £30 and includes a drink and biscuit/cake. If you’d like to try it out, get in touch to arrange a taster session. Wear loose clothes and flat shoes. Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of the class start time.
Although restrictions have officially eased, we are still asking visitors to wear a face mask while moving around inside the building. You may remove the mask while the class is in progress.
