Unfortunately, as it’s uncertain if we’ll be out of tier 3 restrictions by the time this event is due to take place, we’ve taken the decision to cancel. All ticket holders have been contacted and will be given a full refund and we hope to work with Tell Trails next year to bring you some medieval family magic!
Matilda, a girl who lives in Winterbourne is asked by Thomas de Bradeston (who built the Barn) to help organise the mid-winter feast celebrations. But Matilda can’t do it alone! She needs your help to prepare for a Medieval Christmas . There’ll be a mix of crafty activities and an eye spy trail which should help to get the whole family in the festive mood!
Tell Trails are Elizabeth and Simon Roper, a wife and husband team with a passion for ‘place’. A trained heritage education specialist and archaeologist, they have been creating fun and imaginative experiences for 20 years at historic sites, public spaces and countryside locations.
To book, click the link and choose your arrival time. Up to 4 groups will be able to arrive at any one time.
Safety is top of the list so social distancing will be in place and families will get a designated arrival time to manage numbers. We’ll supply all the materials and instructions for you to get creative with your family lasting approximately 2 hours.
We’ll be using the main Barn space and outdoors (weather permitting) so there’s plenty of room for distancing.
Our toilet facilities will be available and we will be serving tea, coffee, juice, and sweet treats!
A family ticket costs £5. If cost is prohibitive, please get in touch.
