The Pottery Shed, Taster Afternoon – Hand Build

Join Brenda from The Pottery Shed in this afternoon taster workshop where you’ll create your own masterpiece in a relaxed atmosphere with professional help and guidance.

During the afternoon, you’ll try hand building techniques (no wheel work) where you’ll come away with a 15cm in diameter and about 8cm
in height. You’ll then add a glaze to the outside of the pot and ‘Sgraffito’ into the glaze, adding a pattern of your choice.
Your pots will then be kept to be fired and you will be contacted a few weeks later to advise when they are ready to collect from the main barn.

Brenda is very generously donating all proceeds from this workshop to Winterbourne Medieval Barn for which we are very grateful.
