Winterbourne Medieval Barn
We have recently completed a major redevelopment project to conserve and enable new uses for the magnificent Grade II* listed 14th century barn and associated out buildings, ensuring long-term sustainability for this nationally significant heritage asset by placing it at the heart of the local community.
WMBT runs a mix of commercial and community events and workshops in the main Barn, West Barn and Cart Shed.
You will be a motivated administrator with a keen eye for detail and a great understanding of what’s needed to plan and deliver events to a high standard. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to prioritise tasks and work effectively to deadlines. Ideally, you’ll have experience working with volunteers in a community focused organisation or heritage site.
About the role
You will report to the Business & Development Manager, but work largely independently and closely with the Events and Publicity Committee and Trustees. You’ll be responsible for making sure that events are booked, planned, and delivered successfully, meeting visitor satisfaction and budgetary targets. You’ll work with our dedicated volunteers to help achieve this, as well as external contractors, facilitators, and casual members of staff.
The closing date for applications is 12 noon Saturday 13 November 2021 and interviews will take place at Winterbourne Medieval Barn on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 November 2021.
